Made With a Smile is a Yorkshire-based business creating personalised, handmade gifts in the UK.
Founded in 2015 by husband-and-wife team Jon and Debbie, we design and make every item in our workshop just outside York.

A Family-Run Business Built on Craftsmanship

Our story began when Jon was made redundant, and we decided to take a leap to create something of our own.
What started with handcrafted soy wax melts soon grew into a business built on creativity, care, and quality and Made With a Smile was born.

Jon now designs and engraves our signature wooden gifts, while Debbie brings her eye for detail and lifelong love of making into every piece. Together, we create products that combine traditional craftsmanship with a polished, professional finish.

We specialise in engraved wooden gifts, personalised keepsakes, and handmade artwork all made to order in our Yorkshire workshop.
From chopping boards and tea & biscuit trays to family trees and bespoke artwork, each item is designed, engraved, and finished by hand.

Every product is created start to finish by us no outsourcing, no mass production.
This hands-on approach means we can maintain quality, consistency, and reliability across every order, while still keeping the heart and individuality that define handmade work.

While our roots are in craft, we work with the structure and reliability of a professional studio.
We regularly create gifts for weddings, businesses, and repeat customers across the UK, and can accommodate corporate, bespoke, or bulk orders with the same care and attention as individual pieces.
